While we were about to lunch by the boulder overlooking the calm water on this misty late afternoon, the rain cloud came rolling in; and we decided it was best to pack and head back before getting drenched. To complete the circuit of Petgill Lake should take 30 - 40 minutes before retracing your steps back to Murrin Park. Another 10 minutes and we'll have an even more spectacular view of Howe Sound and the Tantalus Mountain Range. Instead, thinking of revisit the gorgeous viewpoints motivated our dragging feet to stride faster down the slope. It was not that spectacular but it was serene and the air is so clean. The viewpoints of Howe Sound from the cliff is incredibly aesthetic with beautiful jade water, stunning fjord valley, green trees, blue mountains, white velvet clouds dancing in the baby blue sky… every view is breathtakingly beautiful! By the way, this lake was quite disappointing – it was really small, frozen over, and covered in snow! Watch Queue Queue.
