I tried to Tex but no response. I wasted 5 days of my life trying to secure a room. But my experience and I do reviews. They’re customer service was nonexistent and the renewal terms are clearly designed to be deceptive while allowing them to cover themselves. Instead of putting the full description of the room, I wrote "I'm just putting this here until I can check the site out. Not to mention their "tech support" doesn't respond although it says the response time is less than five minutes.
This is a scam.
They pry on their users just as much as the fake accounts do, its one big cycle of scammery. I was contacted by 20 people and not ONE verifiable room or space for rent.
This is the worst company I ever came across!!!! I got crickets.
So why can't she call me on the phone? roomster is so awful... they deserve to be shut down. Simply a good marketing campaign for Scammers, Inc.
Their positive reviews seem disingenuous and scripted. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! She said she was out of town until the end of the month. Contacted Roomster to follow up and was advised Team Roomster removed listing due to suspicious and fraudulent activity but I as a client was not advised or protected with previous due diligence info that app had documented regarding fraud activity to avoid impact. !All people there offering a room rent I would say 99% are sending SPAM, the place they are offering doesn't exist, THEY send messages with txt number but you call them back. I get a message back saying yes this room is still open and im the proprietor. After creating an account your messaging inbox is flooded with mostly random and often incomplete messages (many of which seem to have been created by bots).

If you have a 5 day trial you are given no warning before it signs you up for an additional 5 days after the first 5 are over- and you CANNOT get a refund if you cancel your service. Her "mother" texted me to Zelle her a down payment but I said I won't send money unless I talk to her on the phone.

My experience is much the same as those other One-Star reviews. Excuse me ?Why would I pay for unsolicited messages ? I didn't pay because I can afford to waste money like this. Then came an email saying someone sent me a message. In the fine print they have some very shady automatic renewal policies. I payed for everything and it wouldn’t even let me get on. scamming other people!!. Stay away from Roomster. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! Roomster is rated 3.0 based on 570 reviews . I get a message back saying yes this room is still open and im the proprietor. Roomster client agreed to refund and pre paid rent in text and email but after payment refuse to refund dollars paid as communicated. The next ad was a 25 year old guy who had an entire property available in the city for over half the price of the lowest grade shared room rate per month.
