My main con is one problem I haven had with Corsair support before as I have multiple SSD's and other Corsair products.
It still uses standard sized keys but they made it compact enough to be portable, there's also enough weight that it stays put on all surfaces. No USB or headphone/mic pass-through. If you're buying this for portability, charging isn't an issue since it's MicroUSB.
2) If you're using the backlighting while charging, the keyboard makes a high pitch sound. It is a solid well built lapboard, with, for me, one irritating problem. On the support page they ask for a copy of receipt and of coarse this being a Newegg review product you don't have one to give them and that could very well be why support is taking so long in getting back to me. Not compatible with the older CUE software version (v1.x), which I prefer over the revamped v2.x. The K63 Wireless can be used with mobile devices, it has multi-device pairing, and it has dedicated media control keys. There are no updated firmware versions for the K63 as of this review. Also allows locking out certain keys that you might not want to hit when gaming. I then plugged this into my Steam Link and it worked right away. Overall Review: The box is pretty big. Overall, I'm happy with the keyboard.
Most people don’t sit with their lap level. With the keyboard slotted in the pad it has plenty of room for your wrists.
The keycaps are above average in quality and have very large and modern looking font. The mute and volume keys, however, can come in pretty handy at times. My response time has felt good on it too even in FPS fast twitching. I then plugged this into my Steam Link and it worked right away. Cons: -Keyboard is not an ergonomic design and is fairly narrow, so you have to keep your elbows in to reduce the bend in your wrists. They really did think this out for gamers. Great wireless solution for living room gaming! -The tray/keyboard assembly is about 2 inches thick, so you may not want to use it on a desk. Well done. -Very attractive and bright illumination -The manual is about 75 pages long, but only 5 pages are in English. They are all smooth and concave with exception to the spacebar which is convex in shape and has a cross-hatch texture to it. When not gaming I don’t use as much of it but it’s vital when gaming to have that extra width. I really like the size for gaming. Overall Review: I think this lapboard/keyboard system would be great for gamers who like to lay on the floor, bed or sofa.
*Cue software allows for saving macros. There are rubber pads on each corner that provide sufficient traction on most surfaces, and fold-out legs on the back that provide about 1/2” of extra lift. There is no 10 Key number pad. The mouse pad area is pretty large. Overall Review: I have multiple Corsair keyboards in my home and personal favorite has been my K70 RapidFire that I use daily. Of course it also, lets you adjust the keyboard lights to your liking. 25 out of 29 people found this review helpful.
