This feeling is there in "Being Frank" when Frank is allowed to be his selfish clueless self, hurtling between homes and behaving so much like a madman that everyone stares in shock when he enters a room. Standup star Jim Gaffigan, who mines domesticity for laughs so successfully onstage, would seem an ideal choice for a man with twice the responsibilities and one big secret to hide.
